ARTISAN, GOURMET AND COMMERCIAL EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES

 

Commercial, Gourmet and Art Exhibitors may set up in designated spaces on Friday, February 8th at 10:00 AM.

ARRIVAL - When you arrive please report to the registration desk at the front entrance of Dulles Expo Center North Hall. Each exhibitor will be assisted individually with where to park for unloading closest to their spot.

UNLOADING - Please unload your vehicle in the designated area as quickly as possible and immediately park your vehicle in the exhibitor parking area. Actual booth setup should begin only after your vehicle has been parked to ensure all exhibitors can get to their booth spaces in a timely manner.

FINDING YOUR SPOT - Booth space will be delineated with a chalk line or pipe & drape (if you have confirmed that you need it) that shows the footprint of each 10’x10’ booth.

CREATING YOUR BOUTIQUE - As specified in the application guidelines, you have agreed to create a professional appearance to your show “boutique” with your own display equipment.

BOOTH ACCESSORIES - If you should need booth accessories, such as tables, chairs, carpet, additional drapes, etc., Hale Northeastern is offering our exhibitors a basic furniture package including 1- 8’ covered and skirted table, 2 chairs and a wastebasket is available for a cost of $45. Additional accessories are also available to help you furnish your space.   • All tables must be covered and draped to the ground.
  • Only flame retardant materials are to be used.
  • Each exhibitor will receive a small trade show sign that includes name and City/State. Additional company identification signage must be professional in appearance (no hand-lettered signs.
  • Exhibitors may not exceed their contracted space, 10’ X 10’ deep per booth ordered.
  • Exhibitors must ensure that all display equipment is designed and installed properly to support the display items. Displays must be able to withstand normal contact with neighboring exhibitors, show laborers (during setup/teardown), and show attendees.
  • Exhibitors may only use electrical extension cords that are approved by the building.
  • Setup must be complete by 6:00 pm, February 8th.
  • Part of the fun of participating as a featured exhibitor in our wine shows is .... well .... the wine! Your booth fee includes tasting tickets to the show for those working your both both days. If you get a chance to take a little break during the day we hope you will do a tasting or two. Each exhibitor who would like to do tastings must come to the information booth at the front entrance upon entering both days in order to get ID'd and wristbanded for tastings. Your first tasting glass is free on Saturday. If you need an additional glass on Sunday, we will have some available for $1.

FOOD VENDORS - The Fairfax County Health Department requires an application from every food vendor on the show floor. Please download, complete and submit the health certificate form located in the exhibitor kit Health Certificate link on our website.
