The bread machine market is flooded with machines, makes and models. Which one to buy? It can be confusing for sure, but there are some really good websites on the internet to help, so do have a look around. You can buy large, small, expensive, cheap, multifunctional or not. Just decide what you need, do your research and go for it.
As a professional chef, I wanted to do a review of the machine I use. Sadly, I do not have the time to make everything by hand and bread is one of those things. My bread maker is an invaluable tool to me in my kitchen, but you could certainly use this model in a domestic kitchen too.

Although it makes many types of bread, it is the best Cuisinart homemade french bread machine around. As with every type of bread this machine produces, the french bread is outstanding, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside.
The convection feature circulates air for superior crust color and texture. For the health conscious or people with restricted diets, this model comes with low carb and gluten-free preset menu options and recipes.
It also looks great. It is a very classic looking machine in smooth brushed stainless steel. It is sturdy, with stay cool handles.
A loud tone indicates when it is time to add any extras, ie: fruit, nuts and a second tone offers the option of removing the paddle before baking or removing unbaked dough to shape by hand.
Recipe booklet included with various recipes suitable for everyone.
It also has a 15-minute pause, 12-hour-delay start timer and is 680 watts.
Does it Stand Out?
This is a sturdy machine that you can leave to do its thing. I often put the appropriate ingredients into the machine, programme it and leave it while I am working on other things. It makes a noise when the first cycle is finished, so you know when you need to change to the next setting in the process. The dough consistency has always been good and very light and makes great bread every time.
This machine has a special menu option that takes basic dough through a few slow, cool rises for differing textures and rustic crusts.
This machine can be programmed to make jams and sauces. In my busy kitchen I need all the help I can get. If you are manually making jam, it can be tetchy if you don’t keep an eye on it. It will burn if it boils and you don’t turn down the heat. This machine’s heat is consistent and makes a noise to tell you it is finished.
The Cuisinart bread maker is my best friend in my professional kitchen. It looks great and is easy clean. I can programme it to do things whilst I am working on other things and it makes perfect bread every time. Good all-rounder!
